Facility Specialist (가스산업기사)
Location: Dongtan, South Korea
The Role:
This role will work as part of our Lab Operations team in Dongtan, Korea, with a primary focus on gas systems, pumps, and abatement to support semiconductor manufacturing test equipment on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Manage pumps and abatement systems.
- Execute preventive maintenance and pump change-outs.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose pump and abatement systems.
- Monitor orders and maintain part inventory.
- Assist in installation projects.
- Collaborate with the team to establish policies and procedures for undocumented systems.
- Provide support for capital projects involving pump and abatement work, including equipment commissioning, system purging, and final connections/disconnections.
- Support the facilities team in other functions as needed.
- Provide on-call support when necessary.
Required Skills / Qualifications
- 0-3 years of professional experience maintaining utilities in a Semiconductor Cleanroom/Laboratory environment.
- Hold a (가스산업안전기사) "Gas Engineer" or "Gas Industrial Engineer" or "Gas Professional Engineer" certificate to meet government certification requirements.
- Degree in engineering or a relevant field.
- Basic proficiency in English for reading documentation.
- Experience in troubleshooting facility equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD (preferred), SAP, MS Office, and other related tools.
- Strong business acumen with accountability and understanding of regulations.
- Ability to work on-call if required.
